'Australian Respite' is an acrylic painting inspired by the Australian bush and its beautiful wildlife. A colorful Rosella is perched on a large branch looking into the blue skies. This abstract artwork was first created using an open cup pouring method in purple, green, turquoise, white and metallic copper. As the paint seperated onto the canvas Reneé could see it was the perfect resting place for a bird. This artwork has been commissioned and is one of kind.
