Creative Fun in the Sun with Little Waves Playgroup! Little Waves Playgroup run by Renee Johnston Art offers a fun, engaging, and creative experience where parents and toddlers (ages 0 to 5 years) can bond, explore, and play in the beautiful, calming beach setting. Our council approved beachside art classes allow toddlers to tap into their creativity while parents get to participate in their child’s artistic journey. Whether you're crafting sand art, painting seashells, or making colourful beach-inspired creations, this playgroup is all about fun, imagination, and making lasting memories. What’s Included in Each Class: Creative Art Activities: Each session features hands-on, beach-inspired art projects—sand painting, seashell collages, watercolour, and more. Every week brings a new theme, ensuring your toddler’s creativity is always sparked. Parent Participation: We believe in the power of connection! Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate in the activities, providing a supportive environment where children feel confident to explore their creativity. Outdoor Fun: The beach provides the perfect environment for children to express themselves. Soft sand, the sound of the ocean, and the fresh air help set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Relaxed, Playful Atmosphere: The goal is to have fun! We focus on the process of creating rather than the end result, helping children develop their creativity and fine motor skills without any pressure. Class Schedule & Pricing: When: Casual Pop Up sessions are available weekdays (Monday to Thursday) from 9am to 10am. *Pending weather and Renee's availability. All dates will be listed through the booking portal and on Renee Johnston Art Facebook page. Cost: $15 each (per parent-child pair). Includes all art materials and a FREE A3 scrap book & bubble wand for new students. Payment is made on the day via cash (preferred) or Pay Id at the start of the session. Where: Raby Bay Foreshore Beach, Masthead Drive, Cleveland QLD, 4163. Renee will be located with her blue art wagon at the first beach under the shady trees. What to Bring: Beach towel, hat, morning tea (optional) and water bottle. Please note Community Beach Art sessions run adjacent to Little Waves Playgroup from 9am to 10am.
